A professional structure, under the leadership of a Directory Board, with an office and an educational facility, was established firstly in Vienna in 2013. This infrastructure ensures the administrative workflow of the whole association and of the educational branch in particular.
The Executive Office is the referral centre to which members and non-members can address questions. The Executive Office answers these directly where applicable or passes them on to the relevant European Association of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (EACTAIC) officer.
